Georgetown professor and inciter of racial division and hatred Michael Eric Dyson is decidedly at odds with Martin Luther King’s belief that “A man should not be judged by the color of his skin but by the content of his character.”

Mr. Dyson says the “greatest purveyors of identity politics today, and for the bulk of our country’s history, have been white citizens…how can we possibly combat the blindness of White men and women who are so deeply invested in their own privilege that they cannot afford to see how much we suffer?”

All Black people are victims, and all White people are oppressors. The content of one’s character, it would appear, is determined by one’s skin color.

Thus, in Mr. Dyson’s world, White people are responsible for the suffering of Black Americans, even when that suffering is self-inflicted. Even when suffering is inflicted on White people by Black perpetrators, this too, is somehow White people’s fault. Did you know Blacks are 27 times more likely to attack Whites? Or that Blacks were the attackers in 84.9% of violent crimes involving Blacks and Whites? If you are unfamiliar with the reality of interracial crime in the United States, read this.

I think the United States is a unique country, and for better or worse, a multicultural nation that is going to have to figure out how to get along or be divided up into hostile ethnic enclaves. There are plenty of examples of intelligent, thoughtful—even Republican-voting—Black people I am proud to call my fellow Americans. Mr. Dyson is not one of them.

In his new book, Mr. Dyson is “proposing the idea that white people should have an ‘Individual Reparations Account’ to make donations to Black institutions and individuals.” In an interview with The New York Times Magazine, Mr. Dyson says “That is what I meant by an I.R.A.: an individual reparations account. You ain’t got to ask the government, you don’t have to ask your local politician—this is what you, an individual, conscientious, ‘woke’ citizen can do.”

I am sorry, but picking cotton and tobacco over two centuries ago has no connection to modern day America. And even if slavery had not been abolished, the Industrial Revolution would have made its continuation impractical, since machines do not need to be fed, clothed, cared for medically or coerced to work. Just like horses, slaves were destined to be replaced by cheaper, more efficient automation.

Mr. Dyson justifies reparations as compensation for slavery. But consider this: No modern day American Blacks live in any way, shape or form like slaves did in the 17th-19th centuries. In fact, if those slaves could see how their descendants are living today, they may have thought their efforts had already been rewarded, given the living standards, freedoms and cultural influence Black Americans enjoy today. Ask any Black American if they would prefer to live in America or Nigeria (or any other African nation) and you will be hard pressed to find anyone willing to give up the standard of living so many seem to readily take for granted in the United States.

Mr. Dyson wants to force White people to confront their privileges, yet he seems wholly unaware of his own. He is an educated, well-paid professor at a top U.S. university who has published several books and who enjoys widespread exposure in the mainstream media. How exactly is this being oppressed? And how did he even attain these achievements given the alleged systemic and institutional racism he continually rails against?

The United States of America is a country built by White men from Europe. Shouldn’t a man have privilege in the house he built with his own two hands? No one is denying slavery played a part in that, and no one is justifying slavery. But picking cotton did not lead to electricity, airplanes and the internet. People like Mr. Dyson are always so quick to point out how evil White people are because of slavery, but they never bother to mention that it was those same White people who abolished slavery, with the passage of the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in 1865. In 1870, the 15th Amendment to the Constitution enabled Black Americans to vote. The Civil Rights Act was passed in 1964, prohibiting discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. From affirmative action to government welfare, society has been moving forward on a trajectory aimed at legislated increases in freedom and equality for Black people in America.

Furthermore, Blacks today are the most privileged group of people in the United States. They get special treatment that is not extended to White people. Since the advent of BLM, police have become increasingly wary of arresting or even questioning Black suspects, lest they be accused of racism. The mainstream media constantly pushes the false narrative that Black people cannot be racist, because racism = power + privilege (only White people have power and privilege). And, Black people are unable to be racist, because they do not have access to institutions that promote racism (which ones are those, I wonder?). Black Americans are perpetual victims, they are owed something, and no matter what White people do, it will never be enough. This is also convenient, because being a victim means that you never have to answer for your own reprehensible behavior. The most egregious acts by Black people are simply dismissed, since their actions and behavior cannot be criticized in the current climate.

America was not built solely on the backs of slave labor. At the peak of slavery, only about 6% of Americans even owned slaves. That means 94% of White Americans built America (i.e., engaged in activities other than plantation work) without the use of slaves. Africans were enslaved before they were brought to North America. They had already been enslaved by other Black Africans, who sold them to slave traders. The slave trade was a disproportionately Jewish operation. The company Monsanto was started by the Monsanto family, a Jewish clan who made their fortune in the slave trade. Why don’t Black people sue Monsanto or demand money from them? And why doesn’t the supposedly erudite Mr. Dyson bother to back up his assertions with historical facts?

Blacks in America claim that they are victims of systemic, institutional racism. They claim they face discrimination and oppression at every turn, from education to social access. They claim they get paid less than White workers and have fewer employment opportunities. The plight of modern day Black Americans is touted as evidence for malevolent social forces driven by White supremacy. But is this really an accurate explanation for why Black Americans continue to struggle in 2017?

No, it is not. This whole narrative is easily disproved when we look at another minority group: Asians.

When was the last time you heard about a group of Asians crying oppression and racism? A group of Asians marching in protest against White privilege? Or how about Asians blaming White people for their failures and shortcomings?

In his article Why Are Asians Invisible?, Chris Roberts writes:

The reason Asians are invisible is simple: They are successful. They are a silent refutation of the view that White wickedness causes the failures of Blacks and Hispanics. That’s why the media and academy ignore them.

In the United States, on average:

– Asians perform better than Whites on tests that measure intelligence, including IQ tests, SAT, ACT, and the ASVAB.
– Asians earn more money than Whites.
– Asians are better educated than Whites.
– Asians commit less crime than Whites.

Of course, the opposite is true of Blacks and Hispanics, and this is generally thought to prove that White racism is still a terrible force.

But if Blacks and Hispanics earn less money than Whites because of malevolent social forces, then wouldn’t it follow that similarly malevolent forces make Whites less successful than Asians? If affirmative action for Blacks is necessary because society conspires to keep their test scores low and keep them out of college, shouldn’t Whites who lag behind Asians deserve a similar leg up?

Ta-Nehisi Coates has said that “there’s nothing wrong with Black people that the complete and total elimination of White supremacy would not fix.” That means White supremacy causes high rates of Black crime, poverty, and illegitimacy. Then what causes higher rates of White crime, poverty, and illegitimacy compared to Asians?

Critics of IQ and other tests claim they are “culturally biased” in favor of the people who created them–Whites–which explains why Blacks and Hispanics score poorly. How do Asians outscore Whites?

Asians have done well without affirmative action or set-asides. Nor have they formed aggressive pressure groups like the NAACP to get where they are. They don’t need special after-school programs or “role models” in popular culture.

For those weak-minded and ignorant White Americans who have succumbed to made up White guilt, there is now a website called Reparations where goods, services, cash and other gibs can be donated to poor victimized Black people. Problem solved? Not for Mr. Dyson, who even looks down on the $25 million donated to the United Negro College Fund by the Koch brothers. Again, illustrating his total incongruence with the beliefs of MLK, Mr. Dyson says “Martin Luther King Jr. believed that charity is a poor substitute for justice. But I ain’t turning $25 million down.”

I wonder about the credibility of a college professor who does not speak proper English. I also wonder how much Mr. Dyson has donated to poor Black people? And more to the point, if we are talking about reparations, then exactly how much is enough?

How much money do Black people need to finally shut the fuck up about slavery reparations? Because no one ever throws a number out there. Slavery existed for a finite period, thus reparations must also be a finite amount. That seems fair, doesn’t it?

Since hucksters like Mr. Dyson can’t seem to put together a coherent plan, let me offer a suggestion on how I think reparations could be provided. First of all, to qualify for reparations, Black Americans must provide the following:

– Documented evidence of being the descendant of a slave
– Documented evidence detailing how being the descendant of a slave is adversely affecting your life in particular
– Proof of high school diploma
– Proof of never having been convicted of a felony offense
– Drug screen

Once these requirements are met, a one-time, fixed amount cash payment will be remitted. To receive this payment, all recipients must sign an agreement disqualifying them from ever receiving or benefiting from the following programs in the future:

– EBT, welfare, section 8 housing and all other government handouts
– Employment via affirmative action
– Private school/college enrollment and organizational memberships via quotas
– Race-based academic and sports scholarships, etc.

Accepting the reparations payment is acknowledgement that you have been compensated for historical wrongs, and those wrongs no longer have any significance in the current year. As such, those who receive reparations will never again be allowed to complain about, protest against or blame White people for how their lives turned out. The payment means Black people must give up their victim status and become responsible and accountable for their decisions, actions and lives.

Even if this plan were implemented, I do not think anything would change for Black people. If we look at the degeneration of Black communities in the 50 years since the Civil Rights Act was passed, it is obvious Compton was safer in the late 1960s than it is in 2017. And, if we look at the third world conditions present in the majority of Black neighborhoods and cities today, we have to ask ourselves: Why hasn’t legislation, taxpayer funding and special treatment elevated these communities? What is causing this degradation? I think most of us can guess what will be done with reparations. They won’t be spent on education, personal development, financial investments or as seed money for new businesses. And once the money is all gone, the complaints and finger-pointing will resume.

What people like Michael Eric Dyson, Ta-Nehisi Coates and Black Lives Matter really want isn’t another handout. Reparations will never resolve anything. Rather, they want to destroy everything White people have built and bring about White genocide. However, once the White people have become an absolute minority, there will be no way to return the county to the way it once was.

When that happens, everything Black people claim their slave ancestors built will be utterly ruined and destroyed.
